Jenin Industrial Free Zone (JIFZ)

Palestinian Wastewater Engineers Group (PWEG) works in partnership with the German Consulting Company Schneider on a project funded by the TOBB-BIS and the German Development Bank (KfW), this project which is 3 km north of Jenin city near to the green line and Haifa port on the Mediterranean Sea, is under implemented on 1000 Dunums land area under the name of “Jenin Industrial Free Zone”. Industries in the Zone are going to be small to medium in addition to different food industries, this project will offer 5,000 direct job opportunities, and thousands of indirect opportunities.

This project is under design and soon will be implemented on the ground and will have a modern infrastructure, it has a sewage network, wastewater treatment plant, water network, roads, firefighting system, and parking, in addition to workers’ facilities like school, nurseries and a mosque. PWEG employ experts and technicians dealing with Environmental Impact assessment, Planning, Legal Consulting, Technical Services, Managerial Services and Logistic support for the whole project duration (28 Months).
