WADI Cooperating for Urban Water Management - CIUDAD Program: Cooperation in Urban Development and Dialogue

Awarded to PWEG with a contract amount of 90,000 EURO, PWEG was involved in proposal drafting by identification of technical activities that will be implemented in Palestine and Lebanon; PWEG also coordinated administrative and technical contributions from partners in Jericho Municipality and the Federation of the Suijani Municipalities in Lebanon to fill the project proposal. During the implementation phase PWEG staff was prepared the design and tender documents of wastewater treatment units and gave the assistance to the Federation of Suijani Municipalities in its tendering, PWEG also supervised the construction process, in addition to giving the assistance for them in the creation of a water and wastewater department.
